"Can you repeat that, but slower?" We have all said this at least once when speaking with a native speaker. To help you avoid this, Dialecta offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from native speakers. They provide insights into proper pronunciation according to literary standards and expose you to the diverse dialects of the language you are learning. This way, you will quickly start speaking like a true native.
Integrating Language and Culture
What is most prominent in a language reflects what is most prevalent in its culture. Spaniards have a special word for the conversation after a family lunch - "sobremesa". Eskimos have no word for war, but over a hundred words for snow. The essence of a culture is best captured in its language. Why is this important? Similarly, learning Cyrillic is more straightforward once you understand the basics of the Serbian language, which is why we introduce it towards the end of the A1 (beginner) level.
