Chinese Language

You will be guided in learning Chinese by our teachers, who have degrees in Chinese language and a vast experience in teaching both children and adults. They have worked in embassies and numerous international companies, where they were in daily contact with the Chinese language. They hold internationally recognised teaching certificates and enjoy passing on their extensive knowledge to new and existing language enthusiasts. The Chinese language course is open to everyone over the age of 6, and our courses cover 4 of the 6 HSK levels.

The HSK exam is a Chinese national standardised test that determines the level of Chinese language proficiency for non-native speakers (including foreigners, Chinese people living outside China, and members of ethnic minorities in China). The HSK written test has six levels: HSK 1 and 2 (basic), HSK 3 and 4 (intermediate), and HSK 5 and 6 (advanced).

The programme includes learning specific Chinese characters with Mandarin pronunciation and basic grammar, which is reviewed and systemized at higher levels. After completing the HSK 1 level, you will be able to read simple texts, such as biographies and descriptions of people, cities, and food. Knowing the HSK 3 level enables you to read news and daily newspapers, while completing the HSK 4 level will allow you to read novels written in Chinese. The HSK 5 level is reached by completing Chinese studies at university level. Each course at Dialecta is tailored to the individual progress of each student. Our teachers aim to bring out the full potential of each group by maximising the potential of every individual.
