Frequently Asked Questions
Which languages do you offer?
We offer courses in many languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, and Serbian for foreigners.
For which proficiency levels are your courses designed?
Our courses are tailored to different proficiency levels, from A1 to C2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Whether you are a beginner (A1) looking to start learning a new language, or an advanced learner (B1-C2) aiming to refine your skills, we have a course that suits your needs. You can learn more about the CEFR standard and sublevels here.
Can I learn a language at your school if I don’t speak Serbian and come from another country?
Absolutely! You can learn any language we offer, and the language of instruction would be English.
Is there a placement test before enrolling in a course?
Of course! If you already have some prior knowledge, before starting the course, you will take a placement test at the school, which assesses all language skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. After completing the test, you will be placed in the most appropriate group and can begin your learning journey with us!
What types of individual courses do you offer?
For those who wish to learn at their own pace, focusing on specific goals, such as learning specialised vocabulary, exam preparation, conversation classes, or further enhancing their language skills, we have created the Dialecta Flex course! This course lasts less than six weeks and is designed for those who want to study for a shorter period than our standard course. You can find more information about this course here.
What courses do you offer for children?
For our youngest learners, we offer nine-month courses that cover one school year to ensure continuity in learning. During this time, your child will complete three regular courses. Children’s courses are available for pre-A1, A1, and A2 levels, according to the CEFR standard. You can read more about our children’s courses here. Additionally, starting in January 2025, your children will have the opportunity to take Cambridge English Qualifications exams at our school. You can read more about this here.

For adult learners, we offer two different types of courses for all our languages: Adults 1 and Adults 2. The Adults 1 course is held twice a week, with 60-minute lessons, and lasts for three months. The Adults 2 course is held twice a week, with 90-minute lessons, and lasts for two months. Classes can be held either in-person or online, in groups of up to 8 participants. What are Cambridge English Qualifications?
Cambridge English Qualifications are internationally recognised exams that assess English language proficiency. This exam covers all four language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Developed by Cambridge English, these qualifications provide our learners with certification of correctly acquired and appropriate knowledge according to international standards. They are recognised by universities, employers, and governments worldwide, making them highly valuable for those wishing to study or work in English-speaking countries. These exams will be available at our school starting in January 2025.
